Bengaluru: Bangalore Electricity Supply Company (BESCOM) has requested domestic electricity consumers to pay their July bills within the due date.
Physical bills will not be issued to domestic consumers this month. Instead, an average bill based on the consumption of the last three months has been calculated and sent to consumers via SMS and email, BESCOM release said.
The bills for July have been calculated based on average consumption, as regular meter readings will not be done for the billing month of July due to meter readers have been deployed for door-to-door data verification under the 'Gruha Jyothi' scheme.
High Tension (HT) consumers, Low Tension (LT) consumers with a load of 40 HP and above, Solar Rooftop (SRTPV) consumers and Temporary electricity connections will received actual bills in July.
